Mike Krzyzewski, who led the US men to basketball gold at the Beijing Olympics, will return for another shot at Olympic glory, two sources close to the situation said last night.
The announcement is expected July 21 in Las Vegas prior to a minicamp for national team prospects July 22-25.
The sources said Krzyzewski, who has led the Duke men to three national championships, is committed to the 2010 World Championships in Turkey and the 2012 London Olympics.
Krzyzewski’s staff, which included Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni, Blazers coach Nate McMillan, and Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim, is expected to return.
